Natural Chicken Hatchery is the,only Hatchery at this time, who have chicks that are actually naturally incubated by Hens. Not an artificial situation like an incubator which is not a healthy substitute for those of you who want fowl that have all of their natural characteristics. This process is rather intensive but well worth the processes we go through to provide the most natural poultry.

Once a chick begins feathering it is called a Peep. By the time the Peep is 1 month old it already has the natural maternal guidance ingrained in it's memory, which it will pass on to it's chicks

Natural Chicken Hatchery is a strong advocate of humane treatment for Chickens. Our hens naturally go broody and provide us a sense of joy as every time we see their little chicks start popping out from under the hens. .

Our Birds are raised in rotated pastures, in order to have the birds at optimum health and avoiding possible disease from being on the same pasture with possible parasite infections. It is always recommended to rotate your Chickens Pastures each year. Many hatcheries raise their Chickens on the same ground year after year, which is why they have to be vaccinated.

We strive to provide the healthiest natural birds which have several generations raised on pastures with organic feeds. In fact our Flocks are raised on pastures that have virgin volcanic soil in the Sedona and Flagstaff Arizona. The nutrients are absorbed by the hens and passed to their embryos, who once hatched continue absorbing the nutrients from the soil. Hence the nutrients are passed on through the eggs.
